Petra Toscana Igt Rosso "Querce Gobbe" 2012
Out of stock
Grapes: 100% Merlot Very concentrated ruby color. The nose reveals a broad picture and great appeal in the first fruity notes of blueberries jam, dried raspberries, black cherries in syrup, prunes, then a noble plant component of myrtle, rosemary and liquorice, cinnamon and pepper. The body is dense on the palate, rich overall, soft, with round, silky tannins and calibrated freshness. The aftertaste is persistent and consistent with the scents of the nose. Pairing: with traditional Tuscan dishes.
Grapes: 100% Merlot A real Cru from which the Merlot grapes used to produce the wine come. Quercegobbe is located in an ideal position, on the edge of the Mediterranean maquis but close to the winery, on a well ventilated hill overlooking the sea. The production method is strictly aimed at defending the territorial connotation. It is fermented in truncated cone oak vats and aged for 15 months, partly in new 600-litre demi muids and partly in second passage barriques. Finally, the wine is left in the bottle for a further 10 months. Alcohol content: 14%Vol Area of Production: in Suvereto - Livorno
