Rather intense ruby red. The nose has a persistent bouquet, with hints of violet, morello cherry and cocoa.
The palate is harmonious and complex, pleasantly balanced, deep and persistent.
Produced only from Nebbiolo grapes from the company's vineyards, Barolo, once known as "Rocche", is a wine of extreme legibility and pleasantness.
A soft and persuasive red wine, which matures in barriques for about 36 years before a further year in the bottle.
