PAUL LAUNOIS
A modern Champagne, very good and with a beautiful family history set in the Grand Cru.
The vineyards and the wine are in the DNA of the Launois family which has been operating as a Harvester-Cooperator for several generations. Julien Launois, after having worked for 9 years abroad, decides to open a new page in the history of the company and does it together with his wife: Sarah. He wants to produce his champagnes and Sarah Launois is an artist, and a wine lover. She thus designs their new identity and creates a new Champagne brand taking a cue from the name of her son: Paul Launois.

In 2012 the important step, with the acquisition of a winery in Mesnil sur Oger and finally the first harvest, is 2015.

Thus was born Monocrome, Champagne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru produced in Mesnil-sur-Oger with 100% Chardonnay grapes, in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, land of choice of the vine.

The MONOCHROME cuvée fully expresses the chalky and mineral terroir. The fineness of the bubbles highlights the salinity of the wine and the slightly buttery aromas of the Chardonnay. The low dosage makes it an “Extra Brut” champagne.
